Armenian Transplantologists' Association
ATA was based in May, 1999 by a group of  experts.
 The general purpose for the development of transplantation in
Armenia is creation of bank of organs, introduction of legal norms and
laws of transplantation in Armenia. It is an important and perspective
step in medicine, without which it is actually impossible to thorough and 
develop the future of surgery. We are sure, that the transplantation allows the improvement of the quality of life of the patients, it can promote more careful scientifically proved research to a transplantation in various areas
of medicine and, particularly, in surgery.
ATA is the member of the Transcaucasian Association of Transplantology.
It is very important, that now the amount of  patients requiring in
transplantation of a liver and kidneys is annually increasing (on last
data more than 3000). ATA will bring the huge contribution to
maintening the medical aid of the patient in transplantology.
